At the time that I am writing this, we are having a break from the snow and ice, but the forecasters tell us that it may yet return. In pages 12 and 13 of this month’s edition, we look at how Nailsworth has been coping so far, with pictures of people walking, skating or simply clearing the paths.
On a more serious note, in another double page spread (6 and 7) we explore some of the thinking behind the proposed new Forest Green Community Centre, and raise concerns that a number of residents have about the project.
Finally, as we near the 100th edition of the Nailsworth News we are keen to find out what people think about the paper and what if anything we should change, so if you are prepared to help (and win a chance of a meal for two at The Olive Tree) please fill out the online questionnaire.
Next month we will have a shorter version of the paper and we will return with a full version for our 100th Edition at the begining of April.
We have also subtly altered the website address. It is now nailsworthnews.org.uk which better suits our not for profit status, (the .co.uk address still works). We have also created a new set of email addresses for volunteers on the paper. These can all be found on our Contact page.
